A lot of Boise homes still have exterior storms over the original sash. Cleaning them properly means getting between the storm and the primary window, which is a two-surface job on each opening. Painted wood sills on older houses also need a gentler approach than vinyl, because aggressive scraping takes paint with it. We work these by hand rather than with a blade.
Homes up against the Foothills get more wind-driven dust and grit on the glass than the flats do, and many have tall or awkward window walls facing the valley. Those we quote on site rather than over the phone, because setup time is most of the cost.
