Nampa's water is published at roughly 3.5 grains per gallon, less than half of Meridian's. In practice that means Nampa homes get far less of the hard-water spotting that dominates Meridian and Garden City, and far more ordinary dirt from ag dust and wind. That is good news: ordinary dirt comes off in a normal cleaning, where mineral scale needs restoration work.
